As humans, we strive for perfection. We aim to avoid mistakes and meet the often impossible standards imposed by ourselves and society. But this aim is futile – perfection leads eventually to decay. Mistakes are a marker of human touch, of authenticity. By embracing authentic expression, mistakes and all, we can free ourselves from the limitations of perfection. After all, true value lies in the act of creating, regardless of aesthetics.
