In collaboration with Mia Suzuki, I worked on a team to design a cover for an article in Macromolecular Materials and Engineering, a peer-reviewed scientific journal in polymer science published by Wiley-VCH. Our challenge was interpreting the research detailed in the article and visually representing it to a wider audience.
We worked with researchers to determine the direction for the design, presenting several initial concepts for review. After approval, Mia and I collaborated in designing the layout and illustrative elements for the cover. The design was submitted for review by the publisher and selected for print on the back cover.
